Oh shit, Shukaku is back. Gaara and his shitty hair also returns!
The episode is alright. It took on a much more serious mood with Boruto teaming up with Kankuro and others. Kinda glad they are actually giving the Sunagakure characters more screentime.
Nice to see some plot progression instead of the usual filler
Remember when Shukaku was still a murderous creature and people feared him, this is him now, feel old yet?
Oh, a Kankuro fight? man the last time we had something like this for him feels like ages ago, think it was against Sasori that he last had all the spotlights on him, and that was back at the beginning of Naruto Shippuden. How time flights.
It looks like Boruto and Shinki are going to bond during this arc, very excited for that, maybe he can even get a bit closer to Shkaku? I can already see that as a powerup option for him.
Speaking about the Raccoon looking sand ball, he still has that humor in him.
Some of the scenes were well made. They really geared up for this arc it seems.
What I don't like is the vibe this arc is bringing seems like a light hearted one. Which I feared that they will treat Kawaki's arc the same as this one.
He who smiles in a crisis has found someone to blame.
Why doesn't anyone tell brouto off when he screws up like it was his fault Sasuke got tossed away into another dimension, are they turning a blind eye to the annoyance which is boruto because Naruto is his father I'm baffled garara telling shinki that boruto has something you don't have I'm like bro no tell brouto off, literally they made the 1tail a chibi character the manga is where the greatness is not this anime for kiddies
I'm glad that some character development and plot progression is finally occurring.
The dynamic between Boruto and Shinki is one I've wanted to see for a while; I think a rivalry between them could make this much more interesting, especially with how much stronger Shinki is.
We don't know what kind of people we truly are until the moment before our deaths.
As death comes to embrace you, you will realise what you are.
That's what death is, don't you think?
Chibi Shikaku is so kawaii. ๐๐๐ One just want to hug him. Funny interaction between him and Boruto.
Typical Boruto argue so much when leaving someone behind. It become too much and very annoying. It's true Naruto did that to a degree, but he had something which was trust, something Boruto is missing. The director seems to forget how Naruto was, because he definitely had more trust in his companion than this brat.
Another thing which is very irritating is that they love to reuse the same material as in Naruto. Why does Kankaru have the same puppets as he did in Naruto. Can it cost too much and be too hard to design a new puppet for him. I have the feeling that he will bring Sasori's puppet out in the end. Ask Kishimoto, he may cooperate in designing a new puppet for him. This makes the whole anime less good in quality. In fact, this has been an issue from the beginning with the Naruto characters.
I would've given this episode 5/5 if it wasn't for the chibi Shukaku bullshit. He does look cute, but I don't want a Tailed Beast to be used like that. It's ridiculous.
