Can i just say this man giving the tour is probably one of the best and most prepared than anyone ive seen yet at any place. I could listen to this guy tell stories absolutely all day long... Very very well done and very well spoken well versed in everything that house and family. 👏bravo
He definitely is. This video makes me want to visit the house and have him be my tour guide. I might go there this summer with my wife! She's into true crime documentaries and crime locations like me.
'Lizzie Borden took an axe', we learned this rhyme in gramma school. I was born in Fall River and lived in an apartment two blocks from this house for 24 years. My cousin Leonard Rebello wrote the most informative/factual book on Lizzie, "Lizzie Borden: Past & Present". He sadly passed in 2023.
I always feel like Seth Borden should be doing tours at this house since he's a distant relative (cousin I believe ) and he was the first person I ever saw doing an interview at Lizzie Borden house. Too cool that Colin and The Paranormal Files area investigating here! 👻🖤
Collin, your investigation of the Lizzie Borden house was absolutely riveting! Your episodes are like mini documentaries, and the storytelling is on point. Connor makes such a fantastic partner with his great personality, and it's a treat when both your parents join in on the investigations. Keep up the amazing work on Paranormal Files - you've got a fan for life!
Seth Borden isn't really welcomed by a lot of paranormal investigative locations after making gross sexual comments of one of the host of a house he investigated with Sam & Colby (who also broke her boo bear equipment) so that's probably why they wouldn't allow him to do the tours. Nor would it be a good idea for Colin to have him on the channel again after all that came to light.
As always I love the fact that you show the entire tour. I’ve watched so many videos of people that have went to the house and I’ve never seen Andrew Borden’s bedroom. People just don’t take the time like y’all do ❤ I’m sure it makes editing longer, but do know, we enjoy it! The last 2 episodes with mama and papa spooks doing creepy things… golden. ❤
I have watched many shows on the Lizzie Borden story. This is by far the best and most thorough history of the story I have ever seen. Excellent job Colin.
At about 2.25.00 it said “I’ve been here for 150 years.” The murdered happened 129 years ago and they lived in the house for 20 years before the murder. That’s wild!
That clip from when he was a little boy pretending to investigate he played for us the other day was reallllyyyy cute. It's like destiny or something. Dreams do come true if you work for them sometimes! ❤
Many psychics in the past claim there was incest happening. The stepmother knew about it happening and did nothing. The older sister wanted to protect Lizzie and the maid from the abuse and contacted the uncle for help. Out of respect for his sister's girls, he came immediately to help the girls. The uncle and the three girls decided to put an end to the abuse. They had to kill both the stepmother and the father because they both knew about what the father was doing. If the father just died, the stepmother would know who did the killing. I believe the psychics thought each parent was killed by separate people. But the anger from the abuse caused the violence of the killings to be excessive. It's believed it was the four of them that covered for each other about who the real killers were. I believe the older sister contacted the uncle. He came unannounced to help his nieces. They made the plan and carried it out. The maid left, the sisters had a falling out years later, and never spoke again. Nothing was ever said where the uncle went or the relationship between he and his nieces. I think it was tragic what they felt they had to do. I watched a show, and I wish I could remember the name, but they were using oujia boards. They even left it under the couch where Mr. Borden was killed. The next investigators came in and found the board. The owners of the Borden house were very angry because they specifically told investors who came to do research that there were to be no oujia boards used. The investigators admitted to using it. They believed that that was how the thing in the basement came to be. I've always found the Lizzie Borden mystery interesting since I was a teenager, I'm in my mid sixty now, so I've followed this story for a very long time. It might be interesting to go back and find these researchers from way back. I loved the show tonight. I'm terrified of demons and tend to avoid your shows about them. This show was just the ghosts and nice. I also appreciate the protection prayer that protects your viewers. Thank you. Much love from Northwestern Pennsylvania ❤.
@Dawnellnunemaker4266 Yup. I always and still do think it's SUPER weird that 2 sisters of such a wealthy family were spinsters. High society rules back then having 2 daughters that come from A LOT of money would have been married and had their own families at these womens ages. That was very odd behavior for anyone to have their daughters still at home at their ages let alone parents that were worth millions back then. The parents of both the daughter and the parents of the men they were marrying, oh they would have banked big time on marrying them off. They were pretty girls and very wealthy so I find that to be the most odd thing about this family. He never let any men court either sister. Her father was known for his absolute greed so he passed up 2 opportunities to make a lot of money off his daughters when they married? That was the first thing that sent up HUGE red flags to me being he was an actual penny pincher and had millions. This man would only pass up making money like that for a couple of reasons and that is the first thing that popped in my head.. EW!! I've researched this family and other historical families of note and that always stuck with me on the Borden's. Things were a lot different back then for women so the sisters actually escaping their father would have been impossible especially if step mom kept her mouth shut. I have worked with people that were sexually abused within their family and the manner of how they were killed and these 2 being spinsters screams abuse. I have always had a soft spot for Lizzie and her sister because of that. FBI profilers in the past and present have looked at the Borden case and all have said they're confident that there was extreme above the norm abuse going on in that home. If I was going through what so many professionals have suggested *MY OPINION* I would have done the same thing or killed myself. Kinda wonder if the land there is cursed, if there is a generational curse or demon, or a severe mental illness in the family lineage. The other Borden home next door prior to the Lizzie Borden murders, well let's just say there was very unusual murders there too and they knocked that home down to quickly erase a blemish on the Borden name. For all those murders to happen on that land is like being struck by lightning twice.
Looking at the photos this could be correct cause his face was more torn up than the step mothers. It looks like the person went to town on daddy dearest
Thank you @dawnellnunemarker4266 and @@Tarabull7353for your replies. Your replies have opened another possible situation which lead up to the murders. Both replies made me stop and think. 🤔🧐
Nice acting by Jeff and mom. I like how we go through the whole history tour for the locations. I love the mix of history with the hauntings. Some people might skip that part but I’m glad it’s included. Nice job guys, nice job.
I stg Colin and his pops are quickly becoming my favorite investigators. So entertaining from the music, narration and interviews where they let them speak.
I gotta add that this was the most comprehensive historical tour discussion yet! Just wow, what an invrestment of time and knowledge from the tour guide! I really enjoy the thorough knowledge set up before the actual investigations!
When you guys asked "mr borden, very simple question.. were you a nice man or a bad?" @ 2:48:14 i hear "I was a man of great.. integri..ty" its almost as if such a long sentence took alot of energy from the spirit.
Rented the murder room and Lizzie's/Emma's rooms upstairs overnight. We were in the house alone shortly after the sun went down, eating dinner on the couch in the guest room when the room light turned off on its own, leaving us in darkness. As I got up to go turn it back on, the bedroom door slammed shut right in front of me. I turned the light back on, and closely examined the light and door, and there was no explanation. That place is seriously haunted. It was definitely spooky sleeping on the side of the bed where Abby was murdered on the floor. Later, after everyone went to bed, I walked around on the first floor alone. Spookiest place was definitely the dining room, where the bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Borden were placed after the murders. You would think it would be the room where Andrew was murdered, but that seemed oddly calm. The dining room had a black light, and replicas of the skulls. In the murder room, they did have one of the dresses of Elizabeth Montgomery ("Bewitched") when she played Lizzie Borden.
You guys are the best ghost hunters on RUclips, so awesome that your parents are open too going investigating with you and your brother in law. Thank you to you all for all your hard work and putting yourselves in those scary situations. God Bless.
Colin I love how you read your comments and heart them !! Not many “ big” creators do anymore and it means alit to us that you and possibly even Connor or one of you all at least read them and take the time to let us know you read them! Thanks for you, Connor, Mama & Papa Spooks for all your hard work&dedication!! You put out amazing content!! Blessings to you all and of course Kortney too!!!❤
I've seen many tours of the Lizzie Borden House, but the one your team had was by far the best. If you notice, none of you had questions, you just listened. He was so professional and had so much more information outside all the other tours I've seen. I'm always the one w/ my hand raised asking the who, what where, etc while in your shoes and unexpectedly, I just listened like you did. That was awesome. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. Have fun tonight.
Colin, this was one of your Best ever! And that's saying a lot. The Tour Guide was phenomenal! I learned so many details I never heard before & I've seen dozens of Investigations of this House. So now we know it WAS Lizzy & I believe there was a pact between her, her sister & the uncle.
Another great video!!! I wear headphones everytime I watch. Sometimes it's still hard to hear the noises you guys hear when you replay it because the music is just a little too loud!
Great video! You four make such a great team! Colin, I like you doing the estus method better because you repeat the voices as you hear them, that makes a big difference. Thanks for the video, It was really awesome!
"Lizzie Borden took an axe..." I gotta say spooky fam, seeing the sweetest people in the world Papa Spooks and Mary in horrifying costumes scare me to no end! 😂 Stay spooky and lots of love from NY! 💜
The tour was absolutely Senatorial!! The guide was so knowledgeable and articulate. He was fascinating to listen to. I really enjoyed his tour and knowledge.
Great intro! I love the way this tour guide gave such detailed information and I love how you acted out the scene, what could have been the possible scene of course. Awesome!
Can't believe I'm watching this 5 days late! I always try to make the premier. I'm so excited for this Colin, I know you will be amazing breaking this place and history down. ❤
This was the most info I’ve gotten from watching the Lizzie Borden documentaries from other ghost hunters. Thanks again for another amazing episode! ❤🎉
Uncle John being mentioned at the time of the murder I thought was a great detail the docent mentioned. What about the illegitimate child of Mr. Borden "wild eyes? Mama & Papa spooks did a great job acting this out! Loved those parts Colin!
I think this video is the BEST of your whole channel. It felt so real and the tour was awesome. It’s crazy how accurate the responses were on the many devices.
The tour guide you can tell is really passionate about this place. I’ve been listening very intently to every word and it’s like I’m there taking the tour. ❤
This case has always been interesting and very convoluted. It's pretty crazy how far we have come to be able to solve murders and other crimes. I also have to say that Momma and Pappa Spooks are honing in on their acting skills. I loved those shots.
I love how well this guy did the the 90 minute tour only for you to find a note later telling you "oh btw, tell IT to go in the basement & stop haunting you if you need to tap out at any time xox".
I, too, really appreciate when the weather boosts the vibe of experiences. And at 2:33, when Colin is appreciating the storm, he reaches out his hand and thunder claps…you looked just like Thor! Epic.
so excited for this one with you guys. watched the podcast with your wife and yourself and it was a game changer the way you explained your view, so many speculations and i love that you two question many and do not follow the herd opinion. great investigative skills at work here! thank you for not being one of those out for only clout!
yup that one lol sorry brain lapse from me here ..but no other podcast.. the podcast. Colin and his beautiful partner spoke of Lizzie Borden in much detail .. opinions and such as well but it was great @@kimberlyshepherd270
I remember watching a TV movie about Lizzie Borden, starring Elizabeth Montgomery ( of Bewitched). I was probably 10-12... Will never forget that experience. As kids, we used to sing the little rhyme about Lizzie... my grandmama taught it to us kids!😅 She loved spooky stuff.❤
I absolutely love that you take as much time that’s needed to tell all the history surrounding this case. Thank you for taking your time with the history. Excellent work 👍🏼
Great Job Colin and and crew!! You NEVER fail to impress. I've always been fascinated by Lizzie Borden. Out of the many investigations seen. This is definitely best. Loved all the history. Keep up the Great job!
Burnt smell, might be the dress she burned. But it’s raining and fireplace can put off smells when strong air makes it’s way down chimney into the house. I think many people was involved in the murders. Lizzy took the blunt blame to protect others.
Hi there. Another awesome video guys. I love watching your video’s. My daughter and I go places too and we love it. There’s just one thing you guys need to work on. Lol. When one of you asks spirit a question you need to allow them time to answer. Whenever one of you asks a question literally 10 seconds later someone else will ask something different and so on. You need to give spirit some time to answer. Sometimes they need to gather energy and that can take a couple of minutes. At one point in the video all of you were asking different things around 5 seconds apart so when there is a response it’s hard to know which question they are responding to. What I love most of all about your video’s is that you go as a family which is so amazing. My mom and dad are past on and I wish they were here to go with my daughter and I. Your mom and dad are awesome. They remind me of my parents. Down to earth and game for anything fun and exciting to spend d quality time together. That’s a quality that’s very rare these days so you are very lucky to have close and loving parents. I look forward to many more of your video’s. Take care and God bless you all. ❤
I have pictures from this house and I have a picture in the basement of where the wall matrixes and looks like a face is popping out of the darkness by the chimney

Yeah, that’s saying something since Colin and Spooky Crew do great research into getting high-quality guides.
I know, he's the best! You can tell he has a real passion for what he does and what happened there
The tour guide guy was so good. So professional
Righteous and he has me wanting to watch, a third time, just for the history lessons again and try and make it through the whole movie 🎬 😊 2:00:38

I love how he prayed before they started. Awesome.
The Bible tells us not to speak to the dead. So praying before getting started is useless , as God has already told us NOT to do this .

Ghosts watching you guys act out the murder:
👁️ 👄 👁️
Can't get enough of you're content Colin! This was definitely one of the better ones! Huge fan of this series!
Wow, your parents are amazing actors. I've never seen or heard this murder in this kind of detail. Awesome premiere guys.
I think this video is the BEST of your whole channel. It felt so real and the tour was awesome. It’s crazy how accurate the responses were on the many devices.
You guys bring excellent investigations every week! By far my favorite channel on, RUclips!
i concur! the heart these humans have for the investigations and compassion and empathy is outstanding

I really jumped when Colin lowered the emf and it went crazy - to the floor where Abby was found lying on the floor!!
What an interesting guy doing the tour, I could listen to him all day!
The tour guide you can tell is really passionate about this place. I’ve been listening very intently to every word and it’s like I’m there taking the tour. ❤
Also this sounds like the Valisca murders. Still unsolved.😢
The rain is making this vlog ambiance sound wicked. It is awesome!
This case has always been interesting and very convoluted. It's pretty crazy how far we have come to be able to solve murders and other crimes. I also have to say that Momma and Pappa Spooks are honing in on their acting skills. I loved those shots.
Such an awesome tour guide ! Love the way he explained things.
Thanks for more exciting adventures of your family. Good job editing, Colin.
I love how well this guy did the the 90 minute tour only for you to find a note later telling you "oh btw, tell IT to go in the basement & stop haunting you if you need to tap out at any time xox".
Love and appreciate everything you guys do more than you’ll ever know. Thank you.🫶Lizzie Borden Took An Axe 💀
Love the reenactment to funny your dad looks like him, and your mom is extremely Lizzie's twin, 😅😅😅😅 love it
Loving the cos play and acting from Mr & Mrs (Erikson) Browen AKA Mr & Mrs Borden!! Fabulous work from all but especially Jeff & Mary!
Papa and mama spooks reenactments are everything ❤
Such a great tour guide and history teller! He did a great job!
I, too, really appreciate when the weather boosts the vibe of experiences. And at 2:33, when Colin is appreciating the storm, he reaches out his hand and thunder claps…you looked just like Thor! Epic.
Great episode and work, as always! And the tour guide is another superstar! Such a fantastic storyteller.
so excited for this one with you guys. watched the podcast with your wife and yourself and it was a game changer the way you explained your view, so many speculations and i love that you two question many and do not follow the herd opinion. great investigative skills at work here! thank you for not being one of those out for only clout!
What podcast? MiA? Or were they on a different one??

Lizzy is my cousin, my mother in laws maiden name was Borden. I want to go to the house, and see it. Love you all.
I heard she was distant relative Elizabeth to Lizzie Borden
Papa spooks is getting awesome at his acting❤
So their not realM
I absolutely love that you take as much time that’s needed to tell all the history surrounding this case. Thank you for taking your time with the history. Excellent work 👍🏼
Yay!!! Can’t wait. I want to go here so badly.. Maybe someday.
Another epically put together film!!
So cool that you all got to investigate. Awesome as always!!!!
I've watched many videos at The Borden house, but, the history on this one was the best I've ever seen!!! Thank you guys❤👻
This episode is absolutely the most intriguing of all Lizzie Borden episodes I have ever seen. The spirit’s wanted to share their truth.
Great Job Colin and and crew!! You NEVER fail to impress. I've always been fascinated by Lizzie Borden. Out of the many investigations seen. This is definitely best. Loved all the history. Keep up the Great job!
Another wonderful episode! Jeff and Mary and the BRoll is golden!
Burnt smell, might be the dress she burned. But it’s raining and fireplace can put off smells when strong air makes it’s way down chimney into the house. I think many people was involved in the murders. Lizzy took the blunt blame to protect others.
Wow the history on this is something i never knew...love the interview
Hi can’t wait for this one looking forward to it so exciting big fan from Australia ❤
TERRIFIC EPISODE! Fascinating history/house tour and awesome investigation!
Going to be an awesome investigation!! Love the Paranormal Files❤
I have pictures from this house and I have a picture in the basement of where the wall matrixes and looks like a face is popping out of the darkness by the chimney
Oh wow 😮. Do you have Discord?
@@kimberlyshepherd270 I took about 400 pictures when I visited the house but never looked at them to see if I caught anything paranormal
You rock Colin! Best episode by far . The Borden story is what I'm obsessed about it's very intriguing until now it's a mystery
"Lizzie Borden Took An Axe" Love your videos as always Colin :)
That guy is an amazing story teller😊I didn’t even fast forward his tour 😂
Wow that weather! Wish that was the background for every investigation! It was SO perfect!
PapaSpooks and Mary Erickson Browen did so good acting in this episode!!! 👍👏
Riiiight! Family of the year!🤗 not only are they extremely supportive they have become thespians for the cause and I love it!😂❤️🫶💯 so cool!
